W imieniu prelegenta, Ronalda Schwaerzlera z firmy GenRe, Zarząd Polskiego Stowarzyszenia Aktuariuszy serdecznie zaprasza swoich członków na wykład-webinar z cyklu Open Floor pt. „Critical Illness & Disability Insurance – Competition or Co-operation?”

O wykładzie: Critical Illness and Disability Insurance are not equally represented in all markets worldwide. We often observe that either of the two products is well known in a certain market, while the other product is hardly marketed. At the beginning of this talk, I would like to provide a short introduction into both concepts, highlighting the different designs and premium implications. After that, I will describe for whom and in which situations it is worth to purchase the products. This knowledge we finally use to discuss product ideas that combine both lines of business in a reasonable way.

O prelegencie: Ronald is a fully qualified actuary of the German Actuarial Association. He works in the reinsurance industry since March 2014 and from 2015-2017 he was product specialist for critical illness insurance in the R&D department of Gen Re. Since December 2017 he is pricing actuary in the European market. Ronald holds a M.Sc. degree in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and a M.Sc. in economics from the University of Ulm.
