On September 27, the Estonian Actuary Society will host a one-day conference “Forward Together” to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
The conference is organized in conjunction with the semi-annual meetings of the International Actuarial Association that take place in Tallinn between the 26th and 30th of September.
The conference will address key issues affecting the insurance and public sector. Those include takeaways from the new IFRS17 reporting regime, risks and opportunities around AI adoption in the insurance sector, potential actuarial contributions to public sector policy-making in the era of the aging population, and challenges in recruiting and developing actuaries amidst data science adoption in multiple sectors of the economy.
The conference is tailored for everybody involved in the insurance industry, including actuaries, executives, and other professionals from insurance and Insurtech companies, public sector representatives, and other decision-makers. We are expecting guests and speakers from the Baltic countries and beyond.
