[Webinar OpenFloor] Data Science, AI & Best Practices – 23 June 2021

On behalf of Isin Ozaksoy, the EMEA Head of Data Analytics of RGA UK, the Board of the Polish Actuarial Association has the pleasure to invite its members and members of the other CEE actuarial associations to its complimentary „Open Floor” series webinar, „Data Science, AI & Best Practices”. 

Abstract:

In this session we’ll be reviewing fundamentals of AI and Data Science followed by best practices in data science applications.

Case studies across the insurance lifecycle will provide practical examples of how these best practices lead to success and improved customer experience.

About the lecturer:

Isin Ozaksoy joined RGA in 2018 in the newly created role of EMEA Head of Data Analytics, where her focus is on building and executing analytics strategies to create future capabilities, delivering critical business value, and facilitating key insights. Her role also includes championing strong data governance and management alignment in support of new products and solutions.

Before joining RGA’s London office, Isin worked at various P&C insurance carriers in the U.S., where she built and executed analytics strategies at both the regional and national level. Prior to joining the reinsurance industry, Isin worked for Capital One, a data-driven and innovative financial company.

Isin received a Ph.D. in statistics (population genetics) from Colorado State University, and a master’s degree in statistics (environmental) from North Carolina State University. She also has received certifications in PROSCI change management and Lean Six Sigma.

When: 23 June 2021 (Wednesday) at 17.00 CET, Zoom meeting. 

Duration: the webinar is expected to last 60-75 minutes, including the Q&A.

  • The lecture will be held as webinar, rather than a meeting, therefore the participants won’t be able to turn on their cameras / microphone and share their screens with other attendees
  • Questions can be asked via the Q&A box (only answered questions will be visible to all attendees)
